Yolonda Ross, DSW, LCSW-S, LCDC, a beloved champion for the HIV community, women and people struggling with addiction and recovery, died September 27, 2026. She was 56. A cause of death was not disclosed, but fellow advocates, colleagues and friends praised her accomplishments and character in an outpouring of posts for the public worker based in Houston.
Services will be held Thursday, October 15, at Windsor Village Church Family in Houston.
