Houston Man Arrested in Golf Course Burglary, $34K in Equipment Recovered

MONT BELVIEU, Texas — A Houston man has been arrested in connection with a burglary at a local golf course, where tens of thousands of dollars in equipment were stolen, according to the Mont Belvieu Police Department.

Officers responded around 6:30 a.m. April 22, 2026, to an overnight burglary at Eagle Pointe Golf Course in the 12000 block of Eagle Pointe Drive.

Patrol officers began an on-scene investigation and called in detectives from the department’s Criminal Investigations Division. Authorities said surveillance video at the facility provided strong leads, including identifying a suspect and a vehicle.
