A major stomach bug has caused a Houston-area school district to close its campus Friday after dozens of parents reported their children out sick.
Ganado ISD announced Thursday evening that all district campuses would close Friday due to a “significant number of absences due to illness,” particularly at Ganado Elementary.
According to the district, more than 90 elementary students had either missed school or been sent home sick since Wednesday.
