PASADENA, Texas – Pasadena ISD is considering school consolidations and possible campus closures as the district grapples with declining enrollment and mounting financial pressures, becoming the latest Houston-area district to weigh difficult cost-cutting measures amid changing student populations.
In a statement to KPRC 2 News the district’s chief of staff said school officials are reviewing staffing ratios and evaluating how facilities are being used in response to shrinking enrollment and rising operational expenses.
