A 44-year-old Irvine man was arrested in connection with an armed road rage incident in which he is accused of pointing a gun at another driver, authorities announced.
The incident occurred near Jamboree Road and Main Street, where investigators say the driver of a Toyota Tacoma, identified as Brian Sunki Oh, cut in front of another vehicle and abruptly slammed on the brakes.
The other driver managed to get around the Tacoma and continue on, but the suspect remained aggressive, officials with the Irvine Police Department said in an Instagram post.
According to police, the 44-year-old began following the victim’s vehicle through the area. When both vehicles stopped at a traffic signal, the Tacoma driver allegedly pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the other motorist.
