One person is in custody after a car chase ended in a multi-car crash near the intersection of Santa Fe Avenue and Myrrh Street in Compton Monday, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The chase started around 2:25 p.m., near the intersection of Alondra Boulevard and Santa Fe Avenue, whenLASD deputies attempted to pull over a stolen car.
The driver sped away from deputies and made it two blocks before crashing into two other vehicles. Overhead footage of the scene from Sky 5 shows black and white sedans with major damage from the crash.
