Police say a bicyclist died after he was struck by a semi-truck’s trailer as it turned out of a parking lot in West Long Beach.
The crash happened shortly after 11 p.m. on Sept. 4 on Pacific Coast Highway near Canal Avenue, according to Long Beach police.
The bicyclist was heading westbound on the south sidewalk when a semi-truck made a right turn out of a parking lot, police said. The bicyclist tried to stop short, but the trailer struck him and knocked him to the ground…
