Los Angeles police have arrested a man for allegedly dealing some $5 million worth of stolen Nike shoes , clothing and other products, authorities said Tuesday.
Investigators with the Los Angeles Police Department ’s Commercial Crimes Division executed two search warrants on Saturday in the cities of Hollywood and Hawthorne. The latter location was a warehouse where police believed the suspect was delivering stolen Nike products, the LAPD said.
LAPD officers and Nike supply chain investigators found thousands of stolen Nike shoes, clothing, accessories and prototypes at the Hawthorne warehouse.
Officers subsequently arrested 37-year-old Roy Lee Harvey Jr., who is believed to have been receiving and reselling the stolen products, according to the LAPD.
