REDSTONE ARSENAL (WHNT) — Redstone Arsenal officials announced that facial recognition entry capability is back online and available for authorized drivers at Gate 1, lane 3, and Gate 9, lanes 3 and 4.
To help reduce wait times, officials said the designated lanes are reserved for single-occupant vehicles only. Drivers must be registered in the installation’s automated entry system, have authorized access to the installation, and lower the driver’s side window so security personnel can confirm there are no additional passengers, especially in vehicles with tinted windows.
