2 Limestone County men convicted on human trafficking charges

Two more people have been convicted through the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office’s Millstone Project, bringing the total number of convictions from the initiative to three.

Anthony Greene II, 43, of Huntsville, pleaded guilty to human trafficking in the first degree after his arrest during the Millstone Project’s Summer Heat Operation in September. Greene was sentenced to 20 years in prison and must register as a sex offender for life.

Eduardo Santiago Mateo Tomas, 19, of Athens, also pleaded guilty to human trafficking in the first degree. Tomas was sentenced to 15 years in prison and must register as a sex offender for life…
