Middle school teacher facing 11 counts related to child exploitation seeks bond reduction

LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala — The attorney for Logan Edward Thomas, the 32-year-old Madison City middle school teacher arrested this week on charges related to child sexual abuse material and electronic solicitation of a child, has filed a Motion to Reduce Bond in Limestone County District Court, records show.

Thomas faces 11 separate bench warrants — each carrying a $30,000 surety bond — bringing his total bond to $330,000. He was arrested Thursday and remains in the Limestone County Jail.
