HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Hundreds of participants gathered Saturday morning at Alabama A&M University’s Agribition Center for the 2026 Huntsville Kidney Walk & Celebration, raising critical funding and awareness for kidney disease patients across North Alabama.
The event, presented by Huntsville Hospital Health System, was hosted by the Alabama Kidney Foundation and brought together community members, advocates, and local leaders in support of the more than 10,000 Alabamians who rely on life-sustaining dialysis treatments. More than 1,000 state residents remain on a waiting list for a kidney transplant.
