MADISON COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — A judge ruled charges against another man accused in a deadly shooting at the Legacy Event Center will not be dropped following a motion by his attorneys to dismiss the case.
During a court hearing last Thursday, attorneys for Damarcus Thompson, who is charged with murder in the deaths of two women during a 2023 birthday party at the Madison County event center, argued the case should be dismissed after learning multiple recorded witness interviews cannot be located.
