Alabama A&M Falls in Doubleheader at Bethune-Cookman

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. | Alabama A&M softball battled through a tough doubleheader on the road, falling 3-1 in game one and 12-0 in game two to Bethune-Cookman on Saturday at Sunnyland Park

The Bulldogs showed fight in the opener, keeping things within reach throughout. Bethune-Cookman pushed across single runs in each of the first three innings, but AAMU stayed composed and continued to generate opportunities at the plate. In the fifth inning, Mariah Solorio delivered an RBI single to score Destiny King, cutting the deficit to 3-1. Alabama A&M threatened late but was unable to capitalize, finishing with six hits in the contest. Paula Ocrospoma led the way with a pair of hits, while Kaylee Tatum turned in a strong complete-game effort in the circle, limiting the Wildcats to just three runs over six innings…
