HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Alabama food truck owners will no longer need to seek separate health, and fire permits for every county they work in, under a new state law signed April 9th.
Senate Bill 197, sponsored by state Sen. Dan Roberts, creates a single statewide inspection system for mobile food vendors. The law takes effect July 1st, with the full inspection system rolling out in 2027.
