First Alert Weather: Some Saturday storms

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Northeast Indiana and Northwest Ohio will see a split Saturday as morning storm clusters give way to several hours of dry weather before pop-up storms redevelop in the late afternoon and evening.

The morning storms are expected to move through quickly, clearing the region by mid-to-late morning. Be prepared for heavy downpours and gusty winds as this rolls through. Some gusty winds are possible with these storms, which is why the Storm Prediction Center has issued a Level 2 slight risk for severe weather across the region.

Highs Saturday will reach 86 degrees.

A Quieter Sunday Ahead

Sunday looks much calmer with mainly dry conditions expected throughout the day. Highs will climb to 87 degrees, making it a better day for outdoor activities without the threat of storms.

Scattered Storms Return Monday Through Wednesday

Monday will be mostly cloudy with only a few isolated showers possible. Highs will reach 88 degrees…
