Indiana takes its responsibility to care for our veterans seriously, and major property tax relief included in last session’s Department of Local Government Finance bill (HEA 1210), which I co-authored, is benefitting disabled veterans in Indiana in big ways.
I’ve had dozens of conversations with many of these folks over the last few months, and it is obvious that these changes aren’t always clearly communicated to those taxpayers they are designed to benefit.
