INDIANAPOLIS — A man is in serious but stable condition following a reported shooting on Sunday evening on the south side of Indianapolis.
According to officials with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to the area of Southport and Tibbs on a report of a person shot at around 10:11 p.m. on Sunday.

When officers arrived, they found a man with a reported gunshot wound inside a vehicle. IMPD officials said that the man first made contact with a security officer and that officer then called 911.
