William Tuffs honored as the only Indiana man who took part of the Boston Tea Party

MIDDLEBURY, Ind. — The National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) and the Indiana Daughters of the American Revolution (INDAR), honored the only known Indiana man to have taken part of Boston Tea Party.

They honored William Tuffs at the Bonneyville Cemetery.

“This program is an amazing opportunity for us to travel back to the communities that are a part of this Boston Tea Party story, and many people assume that the participants stayed in Boston. They stayed in New England. That could not be further from the truth.
