INDIANAPOLIS — Two adults and three children are displaced after a man accidentally drove through his own home attempting to unload firewood on Indy’s south side.
According to the Indianapolis Fire Department, a man was trying to unload firewood in his backyard in the 3000 block of Ribbon Drive.
He had a trunk full of firewood and was attempting to remove it directly from his car and into a wood pile in his yard.
He reportedly drove the vehicle around the side of the house and attempted to get the rear of the vehicle near the pile; however, he didn’t realize that his car was in drive… not reverse…
