First Alert Forecast: A few showers on Saturday

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Northeast Indiana and Northwest Ohio will enjoy a stretch of relatively quiet weather through the middle of next week, with only a couple of chances for scattered storms to interrupt an otherwise dry pattern.

Thursday: Clearing Skies

A few patches of fog may linger early Thursday morning, but expect it to clear quickly. Morning clouds will give way to afternoon sunshine, with highs reaching 81 degrees. There’s a weak chance for an isolated shower or two late in the afternoon or evening, but most of the region will stay dry. Conditions will be pleasant for outdoor plans.

Tonight will be partly cloudy and cool, with lows dropping to 57 degrees.

Friday: Beautiful Start to the Weekend

Friday shapes up to be one of the nicest days of the week. Mostly sunny skies will dominate from start to finish, with highs near 80 degrees. It’s an excellent day to get outside — whether you’re heading to the lake, running errands, or enjoying outdoor activities.

Weekend: Scattered Storm Chance Saturday

Saturday will turn partly cloudy with a few scattered storms possible during the day. Highs will be slightly cooler, reaching 77 degrees. While not everyone will see rain, those storms that do develop could produce heavy downpours, so keep an eye on the forecast throughout the day.

Sunday will be much better, with partly to mostly sunny skies returning and highs near 76 degrees.

Early Next Week: Dry and Comfortable

The pattern stays pleasant heading into early next week. Monday and Tuesday will both be mostly sunny with highs in the mid-70s to near 78 degrees — comfortable temperatures for late August…
