May 01, 2026 // Franchising.com // Indianapolis, Ind. – Sunny Street Café continues its Midwest growth with the signing of a new franchise agreement that will bring its beloved, scratch-made breakfast and lunch concept to Indianapolis for the first time through multi-unit hospitality operator Vijay Patel in summer 2026.
Patel brings more than 20 years of experience in restaurants and hospitality. Originally from India, he began his career in the United Kingdom, working from entry level positions to management roles in the restaurant industry. Since moving to the United States in 2021, he has managed a portfolio of hotels across Illinois, Indiana and New York.
