‘We want to empower you’ | Indiana’s only minority-owned bank opens on Indianapolis’ north side

INDIANAPOLIS — A new Indianapolis bank is helping bring financial access to a previously underserved community.

Generations Community Bank is now open at 2110 N. Illinois St., on the city’s near north side, with leaders saying the goal is to serve all Hoosiers, while focusing on expanding access for underrepresented businesses and communities that have historically been left out of traditional banking.
