OPENING NIGHT WITH BERNADETTE PETERS
Tony and Golden Globe winner Bernadette Peters will be performing an evening of Steven Sondheim hits. Peters has famously starred in a handful of Sondheim’s musicals over the course of her critically acclaimed career. This performance will include the Pacific Symphony Pops orchestra, with Enrico Lopez-Yañez as conductor, to accompany Peters’ incredible vocals. “HADESTOWN”
The hit musical will be making its way back to Segerstrom Hall. Winning eight Tony Awards and a Grammy, “Hadestown” has captured audiences globally with its music, acting, singing, and dancing. The plot follows two separate mythical tales of the young Eurydice and Orpheus along with King Hades and his wife Persephone in the underworld.
