JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – A federal judge has granted a motion from prosecutors withdrawing their request to transfer the Jackson bribery trial to the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Last week, prosecutors submitted an unopposed motion to withdraw its request to transfer the trial to the Southern District’s Courthouse in Gulfport, citing, in part, the extensive media coverage in the case.
