JANS – Wells Memorial United Methodist Church has welcomed a new senior pastor to lead the congregation through the church’s 100th anniversary and beyond as they continue to provide a loving, caring, sharing ministry for church members, the surrounding Bailey Avenue community, and all who come.
Rev. Dr. Lewis E. Logan II delivered his first sermon as senior pastor on Sunday, July 12, and has since worked with members spending time determining where and how they envision Wells Church serving the congregation and community for the next 100 years.
Dr. Logan brings with him decades of experience at the pulpit. He surrendered to the call to preach at age 15 and has since led congregations in Georgia, California, and Mississippi…
