JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Today: We’re in for a warm start to our week as temperatures make their way back to the mid and upper 90s. A Heat Advisory will be in effect today until 7pm as it will feel up to 105-110 degrees. A few pop-up showers may be possible around the evening commute; however rain looks to be more isolated compared to the past few days. Any showers that do form will be brief and dissipate before sunset.
Rest of the week: It will be a hot few days, especially for the middle of September, as highs reach the mid and upper 90s. Rain chances will be few and far between for a majority of this week…
