JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – The Mississippi Highway Patrol is currently investigating a crash involving an 18-wheeler and a utility vehicle on Interstate 55 North.
The crash took place early morning on October 3, 2026, near the 84-mile marker in Hinds County.
Troopers say both drivers were transported to UMMC with unknown injuries.
According to MHP, the northbound lanes will remain closed. Drivers are urged to use caution in the area and, if possible, seek an alternate route…
