RANKIN COUNTY – The Rankin County Sheriff’s Department said deputies searched a wooded area near the Bellegrove subdivision by the Reservoir after receiving a complaint about multiple unhoused individuals allegedly trespassing there, but no one was found.
According to the sheriff’s department, a complainant reported multiple unhoused individuals in the forested area adjacent to the neighborhood. During a preliminary investigation, deputies also found multiple online reports related to the matter, but authorities said no definitive location was identified.
