JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Management at the Residence Inn by Marriott at the District at Eastover said they have been dealing with ongoing brown water issues. They said the faucets have been releasing brown water, affecting the employees and guests.
Zack Mohammed, a manager at the hotel, said the issue happens every few days. He said he discolored water has led to a major loss in linen, costing the hotel more than $12,000 in replacements, on top of refunds to guests for the inconvenience.

Mohammed said he’s reached out to JXN Water about the issue, but he has not received any solutions.
“I ask them for ETA when this issue will be resolved. No, ETA was given. No reason for the issues that are happening and even no ticket for my concern. This is affecting the business’ reputation,” he said…
