JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Burnt and abandoned homes across Jackson pose safety and health risks to residents, prompting Ward 3 Councilman Kenneth Stokes to seek a plan for their removal.
Germaine Thompson lives across the street from three burnt homes off Pocahontas Avenue. She has watched the structures deteriorate for over 15 years.
