RIDGELAND, Miss. (WLBT) – Developers announced plans 44 years ago today to build a new shopping mall on a two-lane road between Hinds and Madison counties.
They planned to call it “The Park,” and they said it could generate $1.5 million in yearly sales taxes for the city of Ridgeland.
