The city issued a permit June 11 for UF Health Jacksonville to build out the second-floor space at its project west of the Intracoastal Waterway at a cost of almost $2.83 million.
UF Health Jacksonville expects to open the center in early 2027, and a spokesperson said May 27 that signage on the site, which currently lists a fall 2026 opening, will be updated.
