A 35-year-old Newark man was ejected from his vehicle during a four-car crash on the Garden State Parkway in Union County on Thursday, Aug. 20.
At 6:05 a.m., the Newark man was operating a Mercedes-Benz passenger vehicle south on the Garden State Parkway in Union Township when he lost directional control of the vehicle, struck the left guardrail, crossed over the northbound lanes of travel and struck a Nissan passenger vehicle and a Kia SUV traveling north, Christopher Postorino, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said.
The Kia was then redirected and struck a Honda SUV, Postorino said. During the crash, the Newark man was ejected from the vehicle and sustained serious injuries, Postorino said…
