Jersey City’s West Side welcomed its first big box retailer Tuesday as Target opened its doors to customers at 3:00 p.m. after months of anticipation. The 119,000-square-foot store will be an anchor retailer for Stadium Plaza, which already includes Acme and Planet Fitness. The store is pegged to be a draw for other businesses in this section of the city that is on the verge of major residential growth in the coming decade.
