KALAMAZOO, MI — A property donation has moved Portage one step closer to adding a new trail.
The Portage City Council accepted the donation of a 7.05-acre vacant industrial parcel at 4501 Quality Court at a Tuesday, May 26 meeting. The property was donated by DSL Enterprises, Inc.
The property is intended to serve as the future home of the Sprinkle Road Bypass North Trail, which would connect Lexington Green Park to neighborhoods in the northeast corner of the city, according to meeting documents.
