The National Cereal Festival will return to downtown Battle Creek June 13, offering a free morning of food, entertainment and family activities, according to a community announcement.
The annual festival is scheduled from 8 a.m. to noon along McCamly Street, stretching from Michigan Avenue to Hamblin Avenue. Organizers say the event highlights Battle Creekâs history as the birthplace of the cereal industry.
The festival is presented by Kellogg Arena, with activities planned throughout the morning. According to the announcement, programming will include live music, games, competitions, vendor booths and activities for children. Free cereal, milk and juice will be available during the event.
Parade planned the night before
