BATTLE CREEK, MI — Raw sewage was spilled in downtown Battle Creek this week totaling about 54,000 gallons, according to a city statement.
The discharge took place from Saturday, May 23, through Friday, May 29, but has now been contained. A plugged line caused raw sewage to back up and overflow near 171 Michigan Ave.
