KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — The owners of a condemned apartment complex near Kalamazoo say the only way to fix the problems there is for tenants to leave, saying they may take ‘legal action’ to make that happen despite local assurances that the township will not enforce evictions.
“Super complicated,” Peter Slaugh, founder of Dever-based OpenPath Investments, said of the problems at Wildwood Off Main in Kalamazoo Township. “This is like a jigsaw puzzle I’ve never seen before. We have never been faced with this kind of situation.”
