KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — Just feet away from the skate ramps of Davis Street Park sits a mural dedicated to 29-year-old Telonn “Lonny” Horton, who was shot and killed at the park in April.
Through an array of vibrant pinks, teal and green, Horton’s legacy for community and skating was on display for every visitor. The artwork gave pause to cousins Ronald Dodson and Cameron Reese.

“To say the least, this is just right. To me, this is beautiful,” said Dodson.
Seeing Horton’s smile again gave Reese a moment of pause…
