KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — Two people have been arrested and nearly a pound of fentanyl has been seized after an operation by the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety.
KDPS says the Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team and the Crime Reduction Team executed a series of search warrants June 16 in connection to a possible drug scheme. Investigators searched two homes: one on Grant Street near Davis Street Park and another on Princeton Avenue near Drexel Place.
According to KDPS, investigators seized three-quarters of a pound of fentanyl, a quarter-pound of crack cocaine, one ounce of cocaine, approximately five pounds of marijuana, evidence of drug manufacturing and distribution and a “large sum” of money that they believe is connected to drug sales…
