The latest happened July 30 in Comstock Township. According to MIOSHA, it was the 25th work-related death reported in Michigan this year.
According to MLive, a 31-year-old business co-owner was standing in a scissor lift while taking apart beams inside a factory. One of the beams came loose and twisted, causing the lift to tip over backward.
The worker struck their head on the ground and died. The person’s name and the business involved haven’t been released…
