On Tuesday at 11:59 p.m. EDT the National Weather Service issued an updated tornado warning in effect until Wednesday at 12:45 a.m. EDT for Barry County.
“At 11:59 p.m., a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Plainwell, or 12 miles north of Kalamazoo, moving east at 50 mph,” according to the weather service. “Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.”…
