KALAMAZOO, MI – The structural framework is officially complete on the new $515 million Kalamazoo Event Center after construction crews added the final steel beam to the building on Friday.
The installation of the 33-foot beam is a major milestone for the project, as construction can now move into the interior buildout and exterior finishing in the months ahead, project officials said in a news release.
