Battle Creek citywide “required landscaping” ordinance proposal to curb parking on lawns

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — The City of Battle Creek is taking issue with vehicles being parked on front lawns and the dirt patches left behind.

At the center of the debate in city hall, it’s property values and community aesthetic versus resources and accessibility.
