KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Two popular dining spots at Meadowbrook Park will temporarily close for more than a month this summer during the FIFA World Cup festivities in Kansas City.
In a message online, The Market at Meadowbrook and Verbena announced they will close from June 10 through July 19 for a “private event.”

“As you make plans for the summer, we wanted to let you know that The Market at Meadowbrook and Verbena will be closed for a private event from June 10 – July 19,” the announcement said.
