KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A Kansas City man has died more than a week after he was found unresponsive behind a home, police have announced.
Mark Simmons, 53, was found just after 6 a.m. on June 9 in the area of Monroe and Independence Ave., according to the Kansas City Police Department. Officers had responded to a request for an ambulance.
When first responders arrived, they said Simmons was unresponsive behind a home. EMS transported him to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police have not released the nature of those injuries…
