OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (KCTV) – Overland Park police are asking for the public’s help identifying a dog and its owner after a man was bitten at a local business.
The Overland Park Police Department says the bite happened around 10 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15, near W. 79th and Frontage Rd.
Police note that a man was entering a business when a light brown American Pit Bull Terrier bit him on the left leg. The dog weighed between 80 and 90 pounds and was on a leash at the time.
The dog’s owner – described as a Black man in his 40s wearing a white shirt, black pants and glasses – did not provide any information to the victim and left the scene, according to investigators…
