KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Severe storms moving through the Kansas City metro on Sunday have left tens of thousands of residents without power.
As of Sunday evening, the Evergy outage map reports more than 37,600 customers are in the dark. The hardest-hit areas include Grandview and Raymore in Missouri, alongside Bonner Springs and Leavenworth in Kansas.
The ongoing severe weather continues to cause damage across the region. Bonner Springs has reported quarter-sized hail, while high winds have knocked down trees in Leavenworth and power lines in Raymore.
