KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A seven vehicle crash has closed a portion of Interstate 435 between Shawnee Mission Parkway and Johnson Drive, Wednesday afternoon.
First responders are responding to the scene of the crash along northbound I-435 after several cars collided with one another.
The Shawnee Police Department said it responded to the crash just after 1:05 p.m. One person needed to be extricated from a vehicle and four others have been ttaken to local hospitals, according to police.
